Robert joined Abingworth in August 2024 and brings over 30 years of experience in the life science industry. Prior to joining Abingworth, Robert was the Founder, President & CEO of SFJ Pharmaceuticals, Inc. during which SFJ was involved in the global development/approval of six oncology, one rare blood disease and one cardiovascular drug, some of which are currently marketed by Pfizer, Merck, Eisai and Apellis. Additionally, Robert previously served as a Senior Advisor to Blackstone Life Sciences. Robert's early career positions included, VP of Quintiles (now IQVIA), VP of Boston Scientific, and Senior Manager at EY. He currently serves on the boards of SFJ Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and the Smithsonian Institution. Robert holds a Master’s Degree from Bentley University.
